Portland Valve has maximum turning capability of 65-Inches in diameter and milling capability of 118-Inch (X Axis) by 81-Inch (Y Axis) by 51-Inch (Z Axis). Our testing capabilities include Hydrostatic testing up to 11,000 psig, air testing up to 200 psig, nitrogen testing up to 6,000 psig, flow testing up to 8,000 scfm, helium leak detection, and a variety of electrical testing including timing and hi-pot.

Our welding positioners range up to 40,000 lbs. and our variety of welding equipment allows us to perform Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) and Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) (both pulse and fully automatic).

We presently have over fifty certified weld procedures. Portland Valve’s machining, welding, NDT, inspection equipment (both fixed and portable coordinate measuring machines), and production testing capabilities, enable us to manufacture and test complicated system assemblies.

We also serve the prime contractors for power generation, electronics, oil & gas and shipbuilding industries.
